In a rapidly changing world, people live while grappling with their struggles.
They pretend not to notice their own difficulties, trying to suppress them deep within their hearts.
When they can no longer suppress them, they try to impose their struggles onto those in more vulnerable positions.
In this way, while these struggles become ubiquitous in the world, they also become concentrated on specific individuals.
So, are the struggles you face a problem for you alone?
Aren't your struggles connected to various issues in Japan and the world, and the circumstances surrounding minorities?
With the help of music and a shared space, let's start by voicing them and thinking about them.
We have invited FUNI, who leads workshops incorporating rap, for a performance and workshop where we can connect and dialogue with other participants about the struggles we face living in an age of diversity. This event is held as part of ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡'s "Pride Commitment" ( ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Diversity Environment: [ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion] ), one of its initiatives for promoting an equitable and inclusive environment.
All ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ students, faculty, and staff are welcome. We encourage you to join us.

FUNI (Rapper, Poet)
In 2002, he formed the rap unit "KP (Korean Power, Korean Pride)."
He also conducts rap workshops in juvenile training schools and literacy classes, helping people voice their feelings.
He continues to be actively involved in activities that go beyond music, such as being interviewed in Ryo Isobe's "Rupo Kawasaki," supervising the rap in the manga "Yami Kawasaki: The Borderline of Struggle," and participating in social movements.
