Degree Conferral Policy (Diploma Policy)
Educational Objectives
Based on the degree conferral policy (Diploma Policy) of ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡, and in accordance with the founding spirit of the Juku, the objective is to research and teach academic principles and their applications. We aim to conceptualize the state of health, medical care, and welfare that contributes to people's health, and to cultivate deep scholarship and outstanding abilities required for advanced practice and management based on scientific methods. Furthermore, beyond the acquisition of specialized knowledge related to health, medical care, welfare, and sports, we aim to foster management skills such as the insight to identify health issues facing individuals and society, logical thinking to estimate the structures and causal relationships behind issues and construct them as hypotheses, analytical skills to verify hypotheses in a way that is convincing to everyone, and communication skills to share and implement derived conclusions. We also aim to cultivate leadership to lead society based on consideration for diversity and multiculturalism and a high sense of professional ethics. Furthermore, in public health, which is a practical science aiming to maintain and improve the health and well-being of all people, there is a strong demand for human resources who can solve health issues ranging from local to global scales across a wide range of fields including health, medical care, and care. Based on this, we aim to train individuals who will become leaders in realizing a global society of health and longevity as practitioners of global health problem-solving. In addition, the degree of Master of Public Health will be conferred upon students who satisfy the prescribed requirements set forth in the curriculum.
