Policy on Degree Conferral (Diploma Policy)
Educational Goals
Based on the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ policy on degree conferral (Diploma Policy), our goal is to foster individuals who possess specialized knowledge of nursing science and the practical and research abilities built upon it. We aim to develop practitioners, managers, educators, and researchers who can address health issues with an interdisciplinary perspective, high ethical standards, and innovative ideas that transcend existing frameworks, while exploring care that brings about the best outcomes. In addition, the degree of Master of Science in Nursing will be conferred upon students who satisfy the prescribed requirements set forth in the curriculum.
Qualities and Abilities Goals
(1) Ability to utilize nursing knowledge, skills, and ethics
The ability to utilize advanced specialized knowledge and skills in nursing, as well as nursing ethics and research ethics, in research and practice.
(2) Research ability
The ability to follow a series of research processes in each specialized field using research methodologies in nursing and related fields.
(3) Ability to solve health issues
The ability to comprehensively understand domestic and international health issues and work toward problem-solving with ideas that transcend existing frameworks.
(4) Interdisciplinary social contribution ability
The ability to maintain an interdisciplinary perspective in various fields of activity and contribute to society by utilizing abilities in nursing and related fields.
(5) Advanced nursing practice ability
Advanced practice nursing ability required for Certified Nurse Specialists (CNS Program)

Policy on Curriculum Organization and Implementation (Curriculum Policy)
Organization of the Educational Process
The Graduate School of Health Management Nursing Major (Master's) systematically organizes a curriculum consisting of introductory subjects, analytical method subjects, specialized subjects (common subjects), specialized subjects (by field), and special research subjects in order to cultivate the qualities and abilities listed in the "Policy on Degree Conferral (Diploma Policy)."
Implementation of the Educational Process
Based on this curriculum organization, education is implemented by combining educational methods such as lectures, presentations, role-playing, discussions, case studies, technical exercises, clinical practice, and distance education.
Evaluation Method of Learning Outcomes
The evaluation of learning outcomes for the qualities and abilities goals to be acquired through the curriculum of the Graduate School of Health Management Nursing Major (Master's) is conducted using direct indicators based on grading criteria defined in each subject, following the Juku-wide assessment plan. In addition, evaluations are made using quantitative/qualitative and direct/indirect indicators, including GPA, enrollment status, degree acquisition status, student course evaluations, and various questionnaires and surveys conducted at the time of completion.

Desired Student Profile
The Graduate School of Health Management Nursing Major (Master's Program) seeks individuals such as the following, with the aim of fostering human resources who will play leading roles in various social settings in the future by utilizing their knowledge and abilities in nursing science.
(1) Possess an interest in and ethical sense regarding human beings, health, nursing/medical care, and society.
(2) Possess the motivation and awareness of issues to explore human beings, health, nursing/medical care, and society, as well as logical thinking, analytical skills, explanatory skills, communication skills, and the English proficiency that forms the foundation of study.
(3) Possess basic knowledge and abilities related to nursing science and nursing practice.
(4) Aspire to be a practitioner, manager, educator, or researcher who plays a role in contributing to the development of nursing science and the health of people.
Basic Policy for Selection
In order to admit such students, the entrance examination for the Graduate School of Health Management Nursing Major (Master's Program) evaluates the four elements of the Admission Policy from multiple perspectives through document screening, an essay exam, and an interview. Regarding the Five-Year Integrated Education Program, after document screening is conducted at the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care, the four elements of the Admission Policy are evaluated from multiple perspectives through document screening and an interview in the selection process for the Graduate School of Health Management Nursing Major (Master's Program) entrance examination.
