ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡
The ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Media Centers formally joined HathiTrust in February 2022. HathiTrust is an expansive digital library based at the University of Michigan and structured and run with a focus on university libraries in the United States. ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ is the first member to join from the Asian region. ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡'s membership signals the following developments.
ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ will contribute to Japan studies both in Japan and overseas by broadening the possibility of persistent and global use of its approximately 90,000 volumes registered to HathiTrust in 2014.
The member-only features such as the ability to download a whole book will make the platform a more useful resource for research and education at ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡.
