ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kohei Ito; hereinafter "ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡") and Japan Post Insurance Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Director and Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO: Tetsuya Senda; hereinafter "Japan Post Insurance") concluded a memorandum of understanding on January 21, 2022, to collaborate and cooperate in promoting the improvement of well-being and the circulation of funds with academia at its core.

Under its philosophy of contributing to "the achievement of a healthy and happy life for all," ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ has been working to advance knowledge and technology in fields such as medicine and data science. The memorandum of understanding was concluded based on a shared vision for the future of society.

Going forward, ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ and Japan Post Insurance will mutually collaborate and cooperate, focusing on the field of impact investing, including considering the provision of funds to venture companies that utilize ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡'s research outcomes. Together, they will strive to solve social issues and create innovation.
