The ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Graduate School of System Design and Management (hereinafter ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ SDM) (Kohoku-ku, Yokohama; Dean: Hidekazu Nishimura) and Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Shigeru Uehara), in collaboration with the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Rugby Football Club, the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Sports Medicine Research Center, and the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Institute of Physical Education, have commenced joint research on a recovery program for athletes. ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ SDM and the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Rugby Football Club collect and accumulate a wide variety of data from a system design perspective¡ªincluding body composition, training intensity, game videos, and GPS data¡ªto prevent player injuries and enable high performance. Based on this scientific analysis, they provide practical nutritional and training guidance. Meanwhile, Taisho Pharmaceutical has developed fatigue-related products, including Lipovitan D, for many years and has accumulated knowledge on fatigue. This joint research aims to build a recovery program for athletes by integrating and developing the strengths of both parties to identify fatigue states and find ways to address them.
