On Friday, November 29, President and CEO Karin Markides of the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) visited President Kohei Itoh to exchange views. Vice-President Masayuki Amagai also joined from ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡, and they discussed further strengthening the collaborative relationship between the two institutions.
The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology School Corporation and ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ signed a basic agreement on scientific and academic cooperation on August 26, 2022. OIST and ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ are also partner universities in the Project for Promoting Regional Core and Distinctive Research Universities (J-PEAKS).
