Shigeru Ishiba has been elected as the 102nd and 103rd Prime Minister of Japan. He graduated from the Department of Law in the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Faculty of Law in 1979. Prime Minister Ishiba is the fourth alumnus from ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ to assume the position, following in the footsteps of Tsuyoshi Inukai (the 29th prime minister of Japan), Ry¨±tar¨ Hashimoto (served terms as the 82nd and 83rd prime minister), and Junichiro Koizumi (served terms as the 87th, 88th, and 89th prime minister).
