ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Ranked First among Japanese Universities on the Certified Public Accountant Examination for the 46th Consecutive Year

It has been announced that 1,335 individuals passed the 2020 Certified Public Accountant Examination (1,337 passed in 2019.)

According to the Mita-kai of Certified Public Accountants, 169 of these were graduates of ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ (183 successful test takers from ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ in 2019). By successfully maintaining pole position among Japanese universities in this year's exam, ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ has now topped the list of successful test takers for 46 years in a row, since 1975.

ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ established the Accounting Research and Education Center within the Faculty of Business and Commerce for students studying to pass the exams to become certified public accountants and licensed tax accountants in 1980. The center plans and implements various educational events, including guidance sessions, lectures, and tours of auditors and corporations, while providing wide-ranging support across faculties and year grades.
