Japan Patent Attorney Association (JPAA) and ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Law School will host a three-day patent Law and Practice Institute during the holiday week (so-called Golden Week). The classes offered during the Institute are incorporated in the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ LLM curriculum as "Seminar (Comparative Patent Case Law and Litigation)". All courses are offered in English except for the tutorial offered between 13:30 and 15:00. Thirty JPAA members (Japanese patent attorneys and in-house counsels), four JPO examiners and five judges from IP sections of Tokyo District Court and IP High Court will participate in the Institute. ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ students will have opportunities to network with speakers and participants and develop communication skills at social events during lunch and farewell party where food and drinks will be provided.
