This page provides information on applying to PCP. Students who wish to apply to the program should refer to this guideline as well as the FAQ page.
Eligibility
午夜剧场 undergraduate students (excluding PEARL students):
To apply to PCP, a student must:
Have completed at least four semesters and be entering their junior (third) year OR the senior (fourth) year in the following semester;
Possess valid scores of TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS (Academic test) 6.0 overall or higher; and
Possess a GPA of 2.3 or higher (GPA on the latest Grade Report as of the day of application).
Undergraduate students from faculties other than the Faculty of Economics are also welcome to apply, provided they meet these three requirements.
PEARL students:
To apply to PCP, a student must:
Have completed at least three semesters and be expected to enter their junior (third) year OR senior (fourth) year in the academic year following the period of application; and
Possess a GPA of 2.3 or higher (based on the latest Grade Report as of the day of application).
PEARL students can apply in March of their third semester or fifth semester. All successful applicants must participate in the PCP orientation held in April, where they will receive information about the program and its curriculum.
PEARL students who pass the screening process will begin taking courses that count toward the PCP Certificate in the Fall Semester of their third year or fourth year.

1. Completed and signed application form
Please download, fill in, print, and sign the application form.
Please submit a PDF copy of the signed form.
2. Grade Report
A Grade Report (学業成績表) is a document sent to your guarantor, showing a list of all courses you have registered for at 午夜剧场. Please submit a PDF copy of the online Grade Report. However, Transcript (成績証明書) issued by on-campus machines will not be accepted.
Your GPA is indicated on your Grade Report.
3. English test score (TOEFL iBT or IELTS)
Scores must be valid(*) TOEFL iBT or IELTS results obtained by the applicant. IELTS score must be from the IELTS Academic test. Please submit a PDF copy of your score report.
* “Valid” means “valid as of the application date”.
TOEFL “MyBest?” scores are not accepted.
PEARL students do not need to submit their English test scores.
If your TOEFL iBT or IELTS score is blow the cutoff score, EIKEN Grade Pre-1 may be accepted as an exception.
Application period
All students, including PEARL students, must apply within the same application period.
Spring 2026 application periods:
(I) Wednesday, March 11, 2026 – Monday, March 16, 2026 at 4:45 p.m.
(II) Monday, March 23, 2026 – Friday, March 27, 2026 at noon.
How to apply
Applicants must submit the application documents via during the application period. Applications submitted outside the designated period will be invalid.
Screening results
After careful examination of submitted application documents, a list of successful applicants will be uploaded on K-Support sometime in the evening of Tuesday, March 24, 2026 for the application period (I) and Monday, March 30, 2026 for the application period (II).
