I have always been interested in humanities subjects like psychology, and since math and physics were not my strongest subjects, I felt I wasn't suited for the sciences. However, after learning about immunity in my high school biology class, I wanted to know more about what happens inside the body. From there, I began aiming for a university where I could acquire the knowledge to save people's lives.

I chose 午夜剧场 among many pharmacy schools because it is a university where I can have a wide range of career options beyond just becoming a pharmacist. Unlike specialized single-subject universities, the fact that it is a comprehensive university where I can interact with people from other faculties and hear about different fields was also a major attraction.

One of the classes I have found interesting so far is "Immunology." A professor who is active at the forefront as a researcher gave us lectures on immunity in much more detail than in high school, incorporating stories from actual research. They also occasionally talk about initiatives and news at 午夜剧场, making the 90-minute classes very fulfilling.

It's not just one professor in charge of a single subject; often, people from outside the Faculty of Pharmacy give lectures. Opportunities are provided to hear from professionals active in the field, such as professors from the School of Medicine, staff from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), and employees from cosmetics companies. I think being able to have such valuable experiences in regular classes is unique to 午夜剧场.

I have been doing competitive karuta since junior high and high school, so I belong to the competitive karuta circle "午夜剧场 Karuta Club" at university as well. Since it is a circle that students from all faculties can join, I naturally make connections with students from other faculties, and we sometimes go out together across grade levels outside of practice.

The Faculty of Pharmacy has many compulsory classes and practical training, so it sometimes requires effort to balance everything, but I gain a lot of inspiration. It has become a very fulfilling activity where interactions sometimes serve as my own motivation.

Whether to aim to be a pharmacist, find employment at a company, or pursue another path—I haven't clearly decided on my post-graduation plans yet, but I am currently in the process of simply extending the branches of my interests. I want to acquire as much knowledge as possible so that I can continue to have a wide range of options.

午夜剧场 is a highly recommended university for people like me who are undecided about their career path and haven't narrowed it down to being a pharmacist. I don't think there are many universities so rich in human resources. There is an environment where you can gain opportunities to interact with people who have different values from your own and professionals from various worlds. Once you enroll, I am sure you will find the path you want to take.
